New sales of long-running iPhones begin in Apple stores around the world

But in Singapore the story is different. Photos published in social media show hundreds of people waiting in line for new phones.

The Apple iPhone XS and XS Max went on sale on Friday, along with the long queues of people waiting to get the latest flagship of the company.

In London, 25 people settled in the morning at 6 am, while there were those who were waiting since the evening of Thursday.

This queue is smaller than last year.

But in Singapore the story is different. Photos published in social media show hundreds of people waiting in line for new phones.

Analysts predict Apple will sell nearly 190 million units of the three new iPhone models over September 2018-September 2019.

iPhone XR will account for 50% of sales according to Counterpoint Research.
